From the most Darling Dinosaur I’ve ever seen!!!
Halloween is over for us :) We dressed up and went to the garage to see Poppy & Nana and the rest of the gang that was there, then Yaya came over to love on her dear little dinosaur…and now…he’s ready for bed!
And this ends our long week of playing dress up!

Costume #1 – This handsome little horse. We had this photo shoot at Aunt Vicki’s today…I wasn’t kidding when I said he had something to wear all week!
Tomorrow is the big finale – then it’s back to normal blogging about our normal days wearing normal clothes!

I tried to tell Alan that the red eyes were taking it a little too far, but he insisted…this is coming from the guy whose favorite movie growing up was the Lost Boys, so I don’t know why I’m surprised!!
Guess Whooooo’s 1st Halloween???
“oooh pick me! It’s mine!” Yes Ryder, we all know!
One of the funnest things about having a baby has been experiencing all of the “firsts”…and we are fast approaching Ryder’s first Halloween. In honor of this special occasion, Ryder has received gifts from Angela, Nana, Uncle Gregg & Rachel, Penny, and Aunt Vicki! That’s enough to last all week. Stay tuned :)
We had lots going on this weekend, I’ll narrate with pictures!
Friday we spent some time outside, Ryder chewed the string on my hoodie, and I continued in my attempt to teach him “MAAAA MAAAA”…
Friday night we met CJ, Angela, Carter, Steven & Jamie for dinner. Carter was fascinated with the straw and his apple juice, and I was in awe over how big Ryder looked sitting in a highchair for the first time!
Saturday we met Grandpa & Aunt Megan for lunch for Megan’s birthday, and had a nice visit! Please note, we started to use leave-in conditioner on his hair, so it actually looks semi under control!
Sunday Ryder dressed up and looked so handsome for Church!
And one really cool thing that started on Friday when I picked Ryder up from Aunt Vicki’s and continued all weekend is that…HE REACHED FOR ME! I couldn’t believe it, I almost cried! He practiced all weekend, on everyone he saw, and each person got so excited that he reached for them too!
This is the view around here these days, almost anywhere you go, the roads are surrounded by trees filled with vibrant colored leaves…so beautiful that you know it only could have been painted by the hand of God!
