Oh Boy…

Time to move the mattress down!! (Imagine how surprised we were to walk in and see that this morning!)

And a lock on the cabinet probably wouldn’t hurt either!

I guess this is why he’s considered a “toddler” now! Can’t wait for the adventure’s this toddler has in store for us…I see they have already begun :-)

Thats funny. Smart guy feeding himself puffs for breakfast! I love his morning hair! I love his hair anytime!

On March 19, 2009 we welcomed our son Ryder Joseph into this world. He was diagnosed with severe Hydroneprhosis in the womb caused by Posterior Urethral Valves and also suffered a Stroke in utero resulting in Left Hemiparesis. He has had lots of follow up and his progress since birth has amazed everyone, including his doctors who refer to his case as the absolute best case scenario. We thank God and praise him every day for answering our prayers along this journey and for giving us the most perfect child to share our lives with. We love this little guy with every bit of our hearts and look forward to the adventure that lies ahead.
I created this blog because I think it is such a neat way for family & friends to check in and see what we're up to on any given day. Ryder has so many wonderful people out there that truly care about him, it warms my heart to know that he was born into such a huge support system.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for sharing in our excitement as we watch this little miracle grow before our eyes!
