All Over the Place

This post is going to be all over the place…because that pretty much sums up where we have been this weekend!

Thursday night, Uncle G came over and got Ryder’s hair all pulled back into his very first ponytail.  This is not a normal milestone in a little boys life, but for some reason, we all got pretty excited about this!

Friday night we all went over to visit with Poppy at the garage.  Now that Ryder is mobile, he is really enjoying his trips to Poppy’s garage where he can walk around, ride his motorcycle, play in the rocks…and…ya know…get “Pop-Pop” to do whatever he asks ;-)

  

By the time we leave, Ryder’s feet, toes, and knuckles are just about black, so it is mandatory to have bath time as soon as we get home…

Saturday, it was back over to Poppy’s house.  But this time, Ryder was staying with Poppy & Nana while Mommy & Daddy went out to dinner.  Before we left, Ryder helped Daddy clean his motorcycle:

 

 

And off we went on our Harley while Ryder stayed and rode his!  We met up with this crew:

Owen, Ryder, Maddy, and Mikayla – You guys are pretty lucky to have such cool parents!  From left to right, that’s Eric & Jelena, Me & Alan, Nick & Lindsay, Matteson & Nicki. 

Ryder went to stay with Yaya Sunday night, which made him the happiest boy alive.  Usually she comes to pick him up since my house is on the way to hers, but this time I decided to bring him to her.  Now I see why he insists on going to her house, he has an entire room to himself (with a playpen, a rocking chair, and all kinds of toys), plus she had a gourmet meal waiting for him!

 

And finally, today, we met our “fwends” at Gilbert Run to play!  It was such a beautiful day for it, good idea girls! 

Ryder found “Nick” as soon as we got there and jumped into her arms…

Ryder mostly just played in the sticks, and Carter taught him how “you just pick them up and THROW them Ryder!”

 

Do little boys get any more handsome than this?!?!  Owen, Luke, and Ryder just chillen out, being handsome, because that’s what they do.  Sidenote: Ryder has been talking about this walk all night, over and over, he says “Luke, Own, Ride, Droll”  Yes Ryder, you, Luke, and Owen went on a ride in the strollers. “Luke, Own, Ride, Droll” Yup, that’s right, that happened.

What a fun, long weekend, that we spent all over the place!  Glad this is a short week, I’m ready for another weekend already!
